Cande Mae and the Old Man - Our Trip

Sometime during October '99 Cande was visiting and we were making preparations for the 11th Annual Golf Tourney and just fooling around I must have said something about wanting to visit St. Andrews and play a round of golf.  My nephew has been there, and good friends Gary & Frank Wallace have been there and you know Palmer, Nicklas, Bobby and many others. All I said was that I would like to play it also before I left the earth.

WELL, before I knew what had happened, Cande said that we should go and while at it we’d visit and see what we could find about where her great grandmother ‘Pitz’ (my grand mother) came over from Germany and thus ‘The Trip’ was conceived and started!
